About our products

Muzik Rock is a mail order specialty store that mainly sells Western rock and pop artists, as well as CDs, DVDs, Blu-Rays, records, cassettes, coins, stamps, and other goods that are difficult to obtain in Japan. → What is Muzik Rock?

As we are an online store that does not have a physical store, you cannot see the products in person. Our store warehouse is not open to the public, and we do not allow any visitors to visit, including to pick up products. Please see the photos on each product page on the website.

Many of the products sold in our store are unique items with limited distribution channels and shipping quantities, so the selling prices are often subject to change due to reasons such as "price changes from suppliers," "price changes due to changes in suppliers," "revisions to shipping charges," and "price changes due to exchange rate fluctuations."

In particular, due to the recent sharp drop in the value of the yen, which has caused retail prices to rise, and the dramatic increase in shipping costs both domestically and overseas, we have been forced to change the prices of our products.

We apologize for making you feel that the sales price and shipping charges are high, even though you are interested in our products and have visited our store website.

However, our store is very different from other CD retailers in that in many cases we do not use the usual procurement routes, but instead arrange for stock through a wide variety of unique routes. Therefore, at present, it is difficult for us to offer all products at low prices.

Also, our store is very small, so we cannot offer free shipping, and we charge the actual shipping cost of Yamato Transport to everyone.

Of course, we are working hard day and night to offer our products at the most affordable prices possible, but first and foremost, we want to give back to our customers by providing them with a unique selection of products that cannot be found in other stores, so that they can be happy. The bootlegs we deal with are not so-called pirated or illegal products, but official bootlegs , a common name used to mean "bootleg-style official records." These are products licensed by the artist or the label to which they belong, and are genuine, official records, with the revenue going to the copyright holder.

Basically, all products sold in our store are genuine/official/certified copies, and only those licensed by the copyright holder are sold. We do not sell unofficial products such as bootlegs/pirated copies/unofficial copies, so please feel free to purchase.

First of all, we would like you to know about the packaging of new imported music software. Most of the software we import and sell at our store is shipped from the country of origin without being sealed or shrink-wrapped, unlike Japanese domestic software, and is mainly European label titles (although in Japan, most titles are shrink-wrapped). In Europe in particular, there is no culture of shrink-wrapping products, so only some major label titles are shipped shrink-wrapped.

And while it is easy to inspect products that are not shrink-wrapped, we open and inspect shrink-wrapped products at our discretion. We are well aware that it is not advisable to open unopened products so easily, but there are many cases where we open and inspect products at our discretion.

The reason for this is that many of the foreign-made unusual products and rare records have damage to the exterior shrink wrap, or the disc has come off the tray, which can cause scratches on the playback surface or damage to the jacket. In addition, we also target products that are labeled as containing limited items but have no description on the exterior, or products whose authenticity is questionable (we will not disclose the criteria for judging each product).

Also, although this is not limited to unopened products, there are many cases where the jewel case or tray is cracked or broken. In the case of such defective cases (beyond the bounds of common sense), we will replace them with new ones if possible, and strive to deliver them to you in the best possible condition.

However, we understand that some customers require that the product be in its original condition (unopened, including the jewel case and shrink wrap) as when it was first released. In that case, we ask that you please ask questions and confirm anything before placing your order using the inquiry form .

Our store is operated as an online mail order specialty store that accepts orders online 24 hours a day. Because inventory changes from moment to moment, we do not print or send catalogs or bundle them with products. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

About ordering and delivery at Musik Rock

Orders are only accepted through the shopping cart set up within this online store (orders cannot be accepted by any other means such as email, telephone or fax).

Our store accepts orders 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, however orders placed outside of business hours will be processed on the next business day.

  1. After completing the order process, you will first receive an automatic email titled "Musik Rock Order (Automatic Email)". Please keep this email safe until you receive your item.
  2. We will ship your item within 2 business days. You will then receive an email stating that your order #____ has been shipped.

In addition, if you place an order that uses a combination of shipping and payment methods that cannot be selected as indicated on our store website, the entire order will generally be cancelled.

As a general rule, our store will ship your ordered items within two business days using Yamato Transport's "Takkyubin Compact" service.

  • Payment methods: Credit card (Visa/MasterCard/AMEX/JCB/Discover/Diners), Apple Pay/Google Pay/Shop Pay/Payment in advance via PayPal (cash on delivery and bank transfers are not accepted)

We will ship your item within 2 business days after payment is complete. It will take 1-3 days to deliver, excluding the shipping date. Once shipped, we will provide you with a tracking number so you can track it yourself.

Please note that all products purchased from Musik Rock are made pursuant to a contract for delivery. Title to and risk of loss for the products pass to you upon delivery to the carrier.

If you have not yet received the email from our store titled "Order number #____ has been shipped," we may be able to assist you, so please contact us as soon as possible using the inquiry form . However, please understand that confirmation may be delayed during business hours as we are currently processing shipments.

Please note that if you have already received the shipping confirmation email, we will not be able to respond to your request. In any case, if you register an incorrect shipping address, there is a high possibility that you will not be able to receive the products you have ordered. Please be careful not to enter incorrect information when placing your order.

If you change your mind about your order (forgetting to use a coupon, cancelling or changing your order details), please contact us as soon as possible using the inquiry form .

However, once the shipping procedure has begun, we will not be able to accept cancellations due to customer reasons. Please be extremely careful when placing your order.

We do not offer gift wrapping services. We apologize for not being able to accommodate your request.

A delivery note will be enclosed with the product when it is shipped. If you are not sending it to your home but as a gift and do not wish for it to be included in the package, please be sure to contact us via the inquiry form within 10 minutes of placing your order (if it is outside of business hours, we may be able to respond even if it is late, but we cannot guarantee this. Once you place your order, a confirmation email titled "Musik Rock Order (automatic email)" will be sent to your registered email address.

Some customers have made orders (inquiries) but have been unable to contact us due to entering their email address incorrectly. If you have not received a response from us and are having trouble, we apologize for the inconvenience, but please check your email address and contact us using the inquiry form .

If you do not receive the automatic order confirmation email immediately after placing your order, it may be due to a mistake in your email address, spam processing, or domain-specific reception. If you notice that you have made a mistake in your input, please contact us immediately using the inquiry form . No, we are not a qualified billing business and therefore do not have a billing business registration number.

Please use the statement from your payment company as a receipt. As we do not receive receipts directly, we cannot issue duplicate receipts.

As a general rule, we do not accept returns (exchanges) due to customer convenience. If you believe that the mistake was made by our store (the product or condition is different from when it was listed), please contact us via the inquiry form within 7 days of receiving the product (returns without permission will not be accepted).

We will ship a replacement item for any in-stock or back-ordered items. For items for which we are unable to provide a replacement, we will promptly refund the full amount paid to our store. If more than 8 days have passed since the item was delivered, we will not be able to accept returns (exchanges).

If the case, such as a CD jewel case or cassette case, is damaged, we will send you a generic replacement case.

In addition, the video format (NTSC/PAL) and region code of the DVD/Blu-ray are listed in the product description, so we strictly refuse returns or exchanges for these reasons. If they are not listed or you are unsure, please ask us using the inquiry form before purchasing.

In consideration of environmental protection issues, our store reuses packaging materials such as cardboard and air packing as much as possible.
