ヘヴィメタルキッズ Heavy Metal Kids - Ultimate Kids Capers (DVD)

ヘヴィメタルキッズの映像集が、オフィシャルサイトのみでネット通販限定DVD「Heavy Metal Kids - Ultimate Kids Capers」としてリリースされていました（DVDはNTSC方式映像のリージョンフリー盤につき、日本国内で再生可）。

現存するHMK映像を多くをかたっぱしから集め、70年代HMKの映像を約64分、バーミンガム Barbarella's公演から約8分、最後に再結成HMKことThe Kidsの2011年クロアチア公演と2012年UFOツアーから約28分で、全100分超えにも及ぶ映像を収録しています。

4 songs live from French TV in 1975 featuring the Cosmo/ John Sinclair line-up and the songs played are The Turk, Crisis, The Cops are Coming and It's the Same. The film has been cleaned up and the sound remastered and to date is the best live footage of the band. There is also a super clean version of She's No Angel from German TV that has not been seen since 1977.

As well as this there is nearly 10 minutes of newly transferred film from Barbarella's club in Birmingham with dubbed live sound from Barbarella's. This has been cut into a montage and songs include Jackie the Lad, The Cops are Coming, She's No Angel, Rock 'n' Roll Man and Delirious.

On top of all this there is a New Kids chapter which features the Uncontrollable Promo clip with John Altman. It also has Chelsea Kids, Whisky, The Cops are Coming clips Live in Croatia with Phil Lewis, and Hangin' On, Hit the Right Button and Delirious clips from the 2012 UFO Tour.

All this as well as the Panorama, Old Grey Whistle Test and Top of the Pops clips and more make over a 100 minutes of Ultimate Kids Capers!

決して万人にオススメできる画質、音質、商品ではありませんが、この時代のヘヴィメタルキッズ映像がこのクオリティで現存していることに感激しましたね。70年代グラム/R&R/ハードロック・ファンにはぜひ見ていただきたい映像です！
