Thank you to everyone who stopped by our booth at "CASSETTE WEEK MARKET 2026"!
Thank you so much to everyone who stopped by our booth at "CASSETTE WEEK MARKET 2026" the other day!

On that pleasantly sunny and warm afternoon, we were overwhelmed by the enthusiastic turnout of customers throughout the event. True to the "cassette" in its name, the market was a constant reminder of how many people share a deep, deep love for music, especially the cassette tape format, and how many were willing to travel from far away just to attend. It was an incredibly hot, vibrant market that brought together so many passionate people.
The market was held in the indoor event space of "WPU HOTEL SHINJUKU," a casual hotel and cultural hub in front of Shinjuku Station. In line with the theme of the market, we exhibited and sold over 400 new imported cassette tapes, as well as a variety of other items including records and merchandise.

Our booth provided a rare opportunity for all sorts of people to pick up and look at our products, from regulars at our online store and those who came specifically looking forward to our shop's presence, to those who just happened to pass by without knowing who we were. It was an incredibly fun and interesting day, and we were constantly surprised by everyone’s reactions, questions, consultations, and requests.
Our staff were busy running around the venue all day, but thanks to the positive and lively atmosphere of the market, we had a very pleasant and enjoyable time. We would like to express our deepest, heartfelt gratitude to everyone who made a purchase at Musik Rock, those who stopped by to grab a flyer or pick up our items, everyone who said hello, and the event organizers, the "Cassette Week Japan Executive Committee"! Thank you so much.
Also, an external media article titled "From Reiwa-era "Boomboxes" to Used Cassettes and Repair Shops: A Report on the "CASSETTE WEEK MARKET" Where Cassette Lovers Gather" was published today. It is a wonderful, affection-filled article that captures the energy of the entire market. The reporter who visited even featured an item they purchased from our store (though it wasn't a cassette tape...). Thank you!
Lastly, I hope we have the chance to meet you all again someday at another pop-up store (though we only open sporadically when we support the event's theme). To those who couldn't make it this time, please be sure to come next time!
We resumed normal operations yesterday following our temporary closure. The items exhibited at the market are back in stock, and we have resumed shipping as of today. For those who received a flyer with a coupon, please note that it is valid until 10/18 at 23:59 (applicable on purchases of 4,000 yen or more).
We have no upcoming pop-up store plans for the time being, but we look forward to seeing you at our primary online store!
