"METALLICA - Phoenix, Arizona | September 1, 2023" is an official bootleg CD pressing available exclusively online, featuring the first performance of the two-day Phoenix concert on September 1st from Metallica's 2023 "M72" North American tour.

Not only did James have a sore throat during "Fuel" that day, but two songs, "The Day That Never Comes" and "Master of Puppets," were suddenly cut, making this an unusually rare live performance (later discovered to be due to COVID-19 infection). It was also reported that the next performance was suddenly postponed.
