The Royal Mint of the United Kingdom has released a commemorative 5 pound coin in memory of Elton John, "Music Legends: Elton John 2020 UK £5 Brilliant Uncirculated Coin "Rocket Man"" as part of its "Music Legends" collection series.

The coin, whose design was approved by Elton John himself, is housed in a special slipcase with a four-sided card sleeve (a design common to the series) making it a highly collectible item (length and width: approximately 126mm, 142mm, and 7mm thick, respectively).
