FEAR, a band that was particularly popular in the LA hardcore punk scene of the 70s and 80s, released their 2023 album as a 3-track CD single, "FEAR - Nice Boys (Don't Play Rock n' Roll) Ep," available exclusively on the label's website.

  • Lee Ving (vocals and harmonica)
  • Eric Razo (guitars)
  • Geoff Kresge (guitar and bass guitar)
  • Spit Stix (drums and percussion)

This is the first album by FEAR's latest lineup and marks the return of drummer Spitstix for the first time since 1993. What's more, the title track features Slash and Duff McKagan of Guns N' Roses, who are self-proclaimed fans of the band.

  1. Nice Boys (Don't Play Rock & Roll) [feat. Duff McKagan on bass guitar; Slash on lead and slide guitar]
  2. She's a Leech
  3. I am an Engineer

The title track, "Nice Boys," is a classic song by Rose Tattoo, an Australian rock and roll band that was popular in the 70s and 80s, and has been passionately performed as a great cover with FEAR's own arrangement.

Many fans will also be pleased to see the cover art, created by guitarist Jeff Krech as a homage to the famous artwork of Rose Tattoo.

Although it will also be available as a digital single, the only physical releases will be this digipack CD single and the 7-inch single, so FEAR fans and GN'R collectors alike shouldn't miss it!
