The Royal Mint released the Music Legends: Freddie Mercury 2025 UK £5 Brilliant Uncirculated Colour Coin, a limited edition of 12,500 coins, as the 12th installment in their Music Legends collection series (although it is now out of print).

Officially released in November 2025 as part of a partnership between Freddie Mercury and the Royal Mint, this collectible coin comes housed in a special four-sided pop-up card sleeve (approximately 128mm, 140mm, and 4mm thick).

Celebrate one of the greatest musicians of all time with the latest release in the Music Legends collection. The reverse features color printing that brings the design to life. The first UK coin solely dedicated to Freddie Mercury. The reverse features a design of the icon at the height of his game, accompanied by the singer-songwriter's signature. Each coin comes with packaging exploring the illustrious career of this true music legend.
