This is the August 2001 issue of "Yesterdaze," a Guns N' Roses-only fanzine written entirely in Japanese that is well known to those in the know. In addition to the main themes of "Yesterdaze," which are "a summary of each member's activities over time" and "an updated discography," the magazine also includes the following four feature articles, making it a much larger volume.
First, witness the official first live performance of the new GN'R, led by Axl Rose, which was born in a club in Las Vegas late at night on New Year's Eve, December 31, 2000! This live report is a documentary-style summary of the situation, starting with the fuss over getting tickets, the hectic travel to the venue, and even after the show ended.
Slash's Snakepit set foot on Japanese soil in November 2000. This book provides a detailed report of all five shows, as well as a sneak peek into the rehearsals.
In April 2000, Izzy Stradlin came to Japan for his first solo show in about seven years. He performed a total of four shows with his friends Duff and Rick Richards, and followed the tour closely (even sneaking into rehearsals). We also managed to get short interviews with both Izzy and Duff, and we talked about them from a unique perspective that only Yesterdaze could.
And a bonus: The Starfuckers, led by Gilby Clarke, performed live every week at a club in West Hollywood in the summer of 2000. This is a report on their everyday, casual live shows.
It is a deluxe edition packed with 52 pages of rare GN'R information that you can only find here. We are offering it at a discounted price this time to clear out all stock. If you are a GN'R fan and haven't gotten your hands on it yet, this is your chance.
