The "John Lennon - 50th Anniversary of the Recording of "Imagine" - First Day Covers Single Set" is a set of three designs, one of each design, released by the United Nations Post Offices in New York, Geneva, and Vienna on International Peace Day in 2021. The set includes special envelopes with stamps commemorating the 50th anniversary of the recording of John Lennon's "Imagine" and a special stamp with the release date of the stamps (each envelope is approximately 105mm long and 153mm wide).
The specially designed envelopes with the logo have the stamps of the respective stamps affixed to them, and are then stamped with a special stamp from the local post office, making them what are known as "First Day Covers" (abbreviated as FDCs). As they are purposely released with postmarks, they are already considered used, but all of these FDC series have officially ceased sales due to the expiration of the license period on March 21, 2022, so don't miss out!
Please note that this John Lennon commemorative stamp series is not shrink-wrapped and is a very delicate item that is easily damaged. Please also note that this item will be sold as is as it is shipped directly from the manufacturer (returns and exchanges are not possible).
