Prince and the Revolution - Purple Rain: SDE Surround Series Exclusive Limited Edition Blu-Ray Audio

Prince and the Revolution's 1984 smash hit album, Purple Rain, was released as a Blu-ray audio with a special slipcase, "Prince and the Revolution - Purple Rain: SDE Surround Series Exclusive Limited Edition Blu-Ray Audio," available exclusively in select stores in the UK.

Purple Rain blu-ray audio features Dolby Atmos and 96/24 stereo mix.

The above tracks are included in a Dolby Atmos mix and the original 1984 high-resolution stereo mix (96/24).

Prince's timeless 1984 album Purple Rain has been mixed in Dolby Atmos and will be released on blu-ray audio in April. This specially packaged SDE edition features an exclusive slipcase.

This collector's edition includes Prince's Dolby Atmos mix on a physical product and comes with a special slipcase!

The hi-res stereo mix is the 1984 mix as mastered by Bernie Grundman. It is not the 2015 Paisley Park remaster that was featured on the 2017 deluxe edition.

This special blu-ray audio edition of Purple Rain will be released on 25 April 2025 via NPG Records and Paisley Park Enterprises in partnership with Warner Records.
