The live CD "Rose Tattoo - Tatts Live in Brunswick: At the Bombay Bicycle Club 1982", which features a club performance in Melbourne from Rose Tattoo's 1982 "Never Too Loud" tour, has surprisingly been officially released in 2017!

Rose Tattoo, the protagonist of this album, is an Australian R&R band that is said to have had a major influence on the later Guns N' Roses (especially Axl Rose) (their cover of GN'R's "Nice Boys" is famous). They are a very straightforward Aussie style R&R band, which is easy to see from the fact that they were label mates with AC/DC and The Angels on "Albert Productions" in the 1970s and 1980s, but the driving rhythm section that is unique to this band, the slide guitar that runs wild on top of it, and Angry Anderson's punkish shouting vocals are just too amazing. Bands with their own original style are strong after all! In this day and age when we can listen to live albums like this, it's tearful for a fan. I'm so happy.

Recorded Live at Bombay Bicycle Club, Melbourne, Australia in 1982.

I've been waiting for some ROSE TATTOO archive material from back then, and now in 2017, after 35 years, a live recording from the time of the album "Scarred for Life" has finally been released! Unfortunately, two of the original members (slide guitarist Peter Wells and drummer Dallas "Digger" Royall) have passed away, but this is a powerful album that is still as powerful as ever and highly recommended for Aussie R&R fans.
