The Bluefields, a southern rock band formed by Dan Baird and Warner E. Hodges, have released their third album in 2014 as a CD exclusively available on their official website, "The Bluefields - Under High Cotton."

"The Bluefields" are:

• Warner E. Hodges (lead guitars & vocals)
• Dan Baird (bass, guitars & vocals)
• Brad Pemberton (drums)
• Joe Blanton (lead vocals and guitar)

Each member is from an American rock band, such as Jason and the Scorchers, The Georgia Satellites, Ryan Adams and the Cardinals, and Royal Court of China, so they are a good choice to pound out some classic southern boogie.
